Saint Alphonsus, loving Father of the poor and sick, all your life you devoted yourself with charity towards those who suffer sickness.  I invoke you as the patron of those who suffer from arthritis since you were afflicted with this disease in your lifetime.  Look with compassion on me in my suffering.  Full of confidence in your intercession, I come to you for help in my present need..(mention here). Saint Jude, glorious apostle, faithful servant, and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the true Church invokes you universally as the patron of things despaired of.  Pray for me, who am so downcast.  Pray for me, that finally, I may receive the consolations and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly (request here), and that I may bless God with the elect through eternity.  Amen.
